How to use the Clanrye Pipe Chanter Reed
The Clanrye Pipe Chanter Reed is the world's first synthetic chanter reed. Unlike a traditonal cane reed, a clanrye does not alter. It has been pre-set to give satisfaction with a minimum of adjustments. The reed has a long life without the maintenance normally associated with a cane reed. Once the reed has been set to the pipe player's desired setting, it will continue to perform to this exact specfication. The Clanrye will provide many hours of trouble free and enjoyable playing.

How to set up your Clanrye Pipe Chanter Reed
The reeds are coded into three strengths, these correspond to the cane reed. If you play an easy cane reed, then you will require an easy Clanrye reed and so forth. The codes are as follows:

  • Easy- Yellow
  • Medium- Red
  • Strong/Hard- Blue
